I've been reading this forum for a couple of months to research buying a Defender; I've wanted one for years but now that I don't need to do motorway miles for work I can finally justify it. This forum has been a mine of information and brilliant in helping decide what I wanted.

Just bought a 2004 TD5 90 that feels like a breath of fresh air and a much needed change from mundane uninspiring cars.

It will be used mostly on the road with a bit of time on rough tracks and fields for typical Cornish country pursuits
