Right where do I start: We (herts laners) hold a regular pub meet to chat and organise outings every first Wednesday of the month in Dunstable on the A5. The pub is the white lion from 7.30pm everyone welcome. We're not a club just a local group on here.

Greenlaning,
Trialing,
Punch events,
Driverounds,
P&P

We stick to sensible groups and driving sensibly while greenlaing as we all should. We always help those that we can Herts laners have been to more greenlane oops rescuses than I can remember and always got the motor home safe and sound which is a testiment to all of us. P&P and comps we all have our crazy moments but I imust say a good bunch of lads and lasses always ready to help when your down and more importantly take the ****!!!!!

hi as a newbe to this forum and all things land rover i dont know any of you
but i would like to pop down to this pub thing you do once a month
And get involved in the chit chat "not that i know much about land rovers"
and meet up for some laning when i can


i work shifts and if im right the next meet would be the 4th july? and im off that night so i could come along
Is that ok with everyone and how will i know who to talk to i can just imagine myself sitting in the corner of the pub on my own eating crisps all night
or walking over to a group guys by the bar and asking if they fancy a drive in the woods
Both ways would make for a bad night out

No worries stew we are usually the loud bunch mickey taking outter each other!! I should be in the landy which is a rare thing but will probably be up for a lane or 2 after as the other half will be in sunny Spain!!

Coupe, I was just throwing my tools in the back of my mota and contemplating going for a jolly. But the mrs car has been ****ing in water rain water, 3 inches in the footwell so I need to try and sort that Aggggghhhhh!!!!!!!!
 
Right I'm minging wet trainers landy is only half back togerther but hey ho., Gonna get fuel and give it a run not driven it anywhere than a few streets away for a few months.


Can't be out too long an hour and a half maybe. Coupe do you hava a working CB???
 
What time you planning on going out? Gotta have some dinner first, being cooked as we speak.

Dont have a CB mate, well I do but no ariel at the mo....my carparks underground so it bangs and crashes against the building roof lol
 
Hi coupe I'm gonna shoot and do one lane now but I have to be back pretty smart ish to be honest so in gonna go for a quick run and make sure the landy is all good cos it's been a while.

Maybe we could sort out an evening trip after work next week maybe a Friday night laning till anyone else up for a nights laning Friday night???

I'm up for that if i can get my MOT work done before then.
 
Well Just got back in. Done a few lanes 1 turned into a few and a couple of fords.

Pepperstock both lanes are over grown and needs clearing desperatly. Rebourn fords are nice and I did a few road miles aswell temp higher than I'd like halfway so need to wash the rado out me thinks.

Couple of branches decided to try and kill me coming through my window and some fallen trees. Need to get up there at some point and clear them away.

Always the way! Last time I went out with the Mrs to do a few local ones I ended up over near Bishops Stortford, not bad considering we started at Melbourn!

Never done Pepperstock before, the fords over Redbourn way?

If you ever want a co pilot with a chainsaw let me know. My rangy won't be running for a bit but the saw runs fine!!:mil6:
 
nothing challenging just a jolly but its overgrown I had a tree heading for my head through the window on several occasions. must get up there and take it back a bit
 
no problems Stu welcome anyt time.

Must sort my stereo as the CB was only full of chave chattin about their kitchen wasnt getting done by the council or summit.
