What size air compressor?

Going to go on the hunt for a compressor and air tools (fed up with all this manual turning things) but what is a decent size compressor to go for?

I'm not going to be spraying cars or anything just the usual drilling, cutting sanding etc so it'll have to be a reasonable size but I ain't got a clue what a reasonable size is?

you'll need 14cuf/min to run tools, but if you're not spraying a 100 - 150L tank will do.

as far as compressors goes if yer gonna have one have a big one if you cant afford a big one and you can weld **** hot get the bits off ebay and build one

Just make sure the compressor on the receiver tank has a half decent output. Keep in mind ofcourse that if in the future you do need/want more receiver storage of compressed air then you can link tanks together. I did this in my old unit. I had a SIP 150ltr linked to an old (but pressure tested) Draper 100ltr unit with a knackered compressor. I just used it as an additional receiver tank. Couldn't argue for the £50 I bought it off a local garage for
