hi all just replaced the turbo hoses with the new silicone ones from dph and I had the tclips to go with them I know it has been mentioned before but I would like to say what a difference it has made a bit more umph those nasty thin clips that used to be on were no more than useless i did notice the old hoses really did expand when the engin was reved up and when I took the old ones of you could see where all the old diesle had been so they were leeking I put that down the the thin clips that were on so when you have some spare cash get some from DPHsport you will also notice the difference

Hi Teddy,

I agree - the original thin clips (8 or 9mm wide) are no good - they cut into the hose -especially as the rubber ones get older and swell up.

The T-bolt type is really necessary on the 90degree bend hose where it enters the EGR / by-pass.

I fitted wider 12.5mm jubilee type hose clips on the other joints, and on the air intake trunking.

Beware the hidden screw-head rubbing against your shiny new pipes.

I cut a piece of heavy-duty closed-cell foam to fit between the hose and the screw-head.

The silicon hoses are money well spent - and they look great too.

yes i agree all my clips are t-bolts now £££ but worth it

nope i did not get the air hose as I had replaced it earlier in the year with landrover main dealer one I wish I had see the hoses before I would have replaced the air with it as well DPH had actually overcharged accidently and I sent them a email and they realised what they had done and refunded you do not get much of that these days

Much as I admire DPH products - I have their turbo hoses myself, and have bought extra sets for friends abroad - I think the heavy duty air intake hose is a bit OTT. You just don't need high-pressure hoses for a low-pressure air-intake!

There is an alternative corrugated type silicone hose available here:

70mm 2 3/4" BLUE Silicone Ducting Flexible Induction Air Intake Pipe Hose 0.5M | eBay

500mm is more than enough for 2 intakes - share with a friend!

That would work out at £8 a time.
