I too have decided not to come this evening. I am covered from head to toe in Psoriasis (in its most chronic form according to the quack!) The ointment I am using makes me smell bad (and the first one who says I usually smell bad gets the first nosefull!)

Last thing I want is to be sitting at a table in the corner of the pub wondering why no one will come talk to me!

With reference to the ball joint. Another failing is a complete lack of cleaning out the circlip grove to a standard approaching anywhere near enough cleanliness. A correctly fitted circlip will not come out. Installation error is the verdict.

Good luck with your refund!!! LOL.

Arm was bought as a complete unit. New arm fitted today and refunded fully. Let's see how this one goes.

My new tyres arent that big!

I bought some 8.25 r16 michelin XZRs for my 109. 34 inch tall. Looks way better than the standard 7.50s.

Simple camera phone picture in the dark is not the best. To be mounted on disco steel wheels.

I have an early 109 that will be sorted as an expidition vehicle. Might even do the whole camel trophy support vehicle thing.


They used 88s for the teams and 109s as the support team vehicles.

Fitting new gearbox and tranny

Wilbharat heading out in a bit to pick up a tranny box and spend the morning with the mrs

Promised my old man id go and move some bits so he can get on with laying some flooring
before I go.

Need some half inch by 3 mm steel strip so I can
Mount my battery how I want it and some 175a battery cable and some new UJs

Haven't got any here pretty sure there is one at my old mans disco 1.22 but thE input gear is worn and its completly untested. Need to check cos may be talkin **** I may have sold it ages ago. Was going to strip the good bits to sell and weigh it in worth alot more that way. Plus my man with the tunnel says he hasn't had any for over a month apparently there getting hard to find and fetch some money I didn't believe him but I asked about nobody I usually ask has any.
