tank wont build up pressure.goes to 3bar ish(have gauge)

run compressor via air drier to tank fills up quickly to max pressure..so not compressor..

tank is seperate from valve block as is compressor..all run with 6mm
pipe

no leaks..

so why not build up pressure?looking at ststem dia could it be system air operated diaphram valve leaking by to exhaust??or p-0rehaps 6mm lines to long, but that i dought..solenoid diaphram valve??

thanks

Only thing it can be is diaphragm valve leaking. Have you removed exhaust filter, and with compressor running checked for air coming from exhaust port, any at all means diaphragm is shot, or diaphragm solenoid valve is not working. But if you can get it to 3bars. Sounds like solenoid is ok and diaphragm is duff.

sorted now..

as was using a seperate switching unit for compressor (as my car dont have an alternator output for tacho and eas ecu,and hense wont switch on compressor),the ecu was not switching on compressor and ALSO not switching the system solenoid valve,(even though compressor on...

feed a supply from my compressor circuit to ecu output that switches system valve..now not dumping to atmosphere..

The diaphragm solenoid valve is switched through the drive pack by the ECU. When ECU pulls compressor relay it should also tell drive pack to pull diaphragm solenoid. When compressor stops, power to solenoid is switched off to dump air, from what then becomes the exhaust gallery.
