Adjustable tow hitch....

Hi all

I need an adjustable tow hitch for the disco 1994, is there certain type to look for? Or will any towing shop have one?

I have a tow bar already but now. Need to tow two different trailers.

Anyone got one they want to shift?

Ive got one i just took off my TD5, its a 2000 W reg. dont know if it will fit your 1994. unless they changed the rear cross member and fuel tank guards?

No tow bar though, thats gone back on.

just took one off a disco 2 that will fit, but it's in Leeds. £20 plus post, unless you can get it picked up.

Do they just bolt on to where the hitch normally goes and then the hitch bolts on to the adjuster?

Price is good, can you get cost for postage and let me know how you want payment please?

it's a complete tow bar, bolts to chassis, 3 part. can flat pack if anyones passing. will have a look at post cost for you.

is it the one with the drop plate that ya can slide up and down or just the standard disco one with the 6 or 8 holes?

Ah, I'm only looking for the bolt on drop plate with sliding hitch plate, I don't need the whole bar.

Dont know if im needed anymore but sounds like mine is the disco type that 3.5 EFI is referring too. It has 6 or 8 bolts to bolt the tow bar to, and it attaches via 2 bolts into the cross member and 2 more into the fuel tank mounts(on my defender anyway).

You wouldnt want to post the thing though its fooking heavy! im based in sutton coldfield if thats any good to anyone.
