Easy way to tell if it was td5 is I believe td5s had steel doors. Stick a magnet to the door. But it isn't a td5, I'll tell you that much.

Thanks for the heads up....
As i already have the wrong one... is it possible to retro fit and route pipes?
thanks
You could still make the snorkel fit if you're prepared to fiddle a bit.
You dont seriously expect me to read all that at this time of night.
Guys,, is it a case of cutting the wing to allow the (wrong) snorkel to mount to the wing and then feed a pipe across the engine to the opposite side?
nope, unless you want to bodge it
post some reasonable quality pictures of the engine bay

Cheers,
taken on board, but actually I'm a helicopter engineer....
and i used to drive a green defender for a living...
...never owned one or modified one... thats why i'm here, as well as to get to know the community..
So not going to be beaten by this, prefer the look of the Mantec one i have as well...
so a heads up, with some advice is most welcomed..
Cheers

Thanks lanny man 90...
I think the hardest part will be linking the snorkel aperture on the inside of the wing to a connecting hose...
Maybe i'll need to make a manifold box to connect the snorkel aperture on one side and then the connecting hose on the other....
I guess i need to take a look at the wing first...
