Fuel tank breather ?

So ive not heard of a FUEL tank breather before does it really need one ? Dont think ive ever got water in mine before.

It's the wee pipe that runs up to yer filler pipe....

if thers no breather on tank you have a sealed unit try and get feul out just ends up with a vacum example open bottle of water upside down either nothing comes out or the bottle crushes.

No No this is part of a wading kit, like breather pipes for the axles - but for the fuel tank ?

Nah, just tryin' tae find the clips so's ah could take the tank out
And it's never had a polish yet since ah painted it a couple or so years ago!!

Old thread revival.

My td5 90 has a fuel tank breather as well as the one shown on the filler neck. It sits on the top of the tank and clips to the chassis on the passenger side
