I THINK it was about 2005 ish .... When did the LR 3 get launched ?? it was "New" fer that & then transfered over to L322's ..............

Yeah it was late 2005 (same time they changed the Wheel fitments on the L322)

Aug 2005 onwards mate .............

Sorry I put the wrong title on my question but it wouldn't let me change it.
I wanted to know about the terrain response, that was right at least.
Thanks for the info. So I'd need to be looking at one made after the middle of 2005.

I know AS FACT that the late 06 plates DO HAVE IT coz I was talkin to a mate of mine today bout the Snow Ect & he mentioned that "all I did was turn the Button, & I sailed up the hill"

Weird !!! It was only 1/2 an hour or so later I read yer post ...

hammoj28 yes initially I was going to have a rant, yes, but I changed my mind and deleted it, but could not delete the title.

I've had a number of Range Rovers trying to push me to go faster in my Defender in the recent heavy snow and it was just stupid.
However I realised that none of those people would be on forums like this, so it would be unfair to have a go at the Range Rover owners part of this forum.

Plus I'm looking at buying one myself anyway....so don't want to start out on a bad foot.

Not sure of the exact year, but it was a bit later that the arrival of the Discovery 3, and coincided with the figment of the "Jaguar" V8 in the Petrols, and about a year later the TDV8 (replacing the TD6) in the Diesels.
