First time ihave had a range rover with EAS!
Just a few questions I'm unsure about
After the suspension has pumped up how often should the compressor activate?
Does the system lose pressure after the engine has been switched off for a period of time, say about 2 hours?
Mine seems to be ok at the moment but I do often here the compressor running, and have noticed after the engine has been off for a couple of hours and I restart the low light is flashing and the compressor starts to inflate the air bags.
Any advice on these questions would be great.

leaking airbags, leaking valve block, leaking air tank, faulty sensors, any one of these will break the compressor, ask me how i know! Do a search eas issues are all covered in the forum.p38 if parked on a leveled ground will not go 2 the bump stop in 2 hours.compressor running often=leaks!!! Unfixed leaks=bye bye compressor.

Hi JORJIO_k
thanks for the advice. Re: the compressor running. The suspension is not fully down on the bump stops after a couple of hours it just seems to drop a little. Example, if I switch of for say about an hour or so when I re start the suspension lights on dash are showing 2 lights the low level and the normal ride height is flashing and the car raises a couple of inches approx. when running the suspension stays level, I do often here the compressor start up when stationary sometimes. Does this indicate a fault? I'm not dure how often the compressor should start.

i wouldn't worry about your suspension mate,it sounds about right as to what it is doing.the pump stops and starts as and when it needs to top up the air reservoir.

I'm with Gemsdad the suspension will lower when you stop, and it cycles through a self test.

If you car goes down when stopped in a couple of hours then you almost certainly have a leak. If th car is more than 8 years old or has done more than 80K miles then the air suspension bags are likely to be shot. Get underneath and look to see if they are perished, do the soapy water leak test. If you don't sort it, it will knacker the compressor:eek:
