Got it started - for about 15 minutes before it died, again.

Took out the dash to clean it and replace some bulbs.

Bought a spare set of injectors.

Bolted some spotlights onto my new bumper, had to modify the lights in order to turn them upside down. pleased with the look.............................they dont work yet, the wiring can wait for another day.

Decided to find out why me heater blower & aircon dun't work.

Discovered that the heater switch was fried. But more importantly I discovered that to change the switch you have to remove the entire dash and front fascia. :eek: Also found out that there was no power supply to aircon or blower and that the ****er who installed the aircon decided that he only needed to use Blue or green wires! :mad: As a result I've spent all day tracing wires and changing relays as well as running a new feed and ignition switched relay. The good news is that everything Inc AC compressor clutch is now working. The bad news is that I cut the AC belt tuther day cos the tensioner pulley bearing was knacked and making a racket. :doh:

thought i'd change my front axle before it let's go(knackered cv and splines worn on input) have both axles from the range rover that i destroyed for the engine and box (it was beyond repair as i didn't fancy spending the rest of my life welding)
so off we go,wheels off,calipers off,prop off to do uj,steering box disconnected,panhard disconnnected,shock lowers undone,raius arm to chassis undone,lift chassis with forklift(always handy to have one of these to hand when working on the bastard)and kick axle out,easy.
drag replacement out to compare and it's got the larger chassis mounts on the radius arms,no biggy,just swap them.3 of the bolts fly out like you put them in yesterday on axle one,the last being quite happy where it was. axle 2 was exactly the same with one c*nt of a bolt that wasn't coming out in a hurry. think **** it,i'll pull the hubs and half shafts out and swap the diffs and all will be good in the world,bearing in mind axle 2 has not turned a wheel in 2 years and has been sat under a rotting range rover. oh joy! 12 sided bolts with more corrosion than is really needed. spend an hour making sure i can undo them all,which i can eventually. jump onto axle 1 to do same,hex bolts with locking tabs,piece of **** this,had two bolts out in a flash,just started on third bolt and noticed ones got six bolts,the other seven. not discouraged at this point i push on and decide that bastard radius arm bolts from hell must be encouraged to leave home(much like my son) 2 hours later after much sweat and tears (read 2 hammers,broke one,grinder,3 cutting discs,lots of manual labour)they decided they'd had enough and let loose their grip.
i decided i'd had enough at this point and retired to my happy place,which is nice.

what is it about the fourth bolt?

Fitted some new pads to the front.

Now i need to sort the starter out... Just clicks :doh: Glad it did not **** me up on th london 2 Brighton though

yer a tit..... i ebayed mine for 535 quid 3 weeks ago:doh::doh:

well i was going to put if up for sale on here but i can't get on with the for sale bit, its crap and only really set up for selling whole cars and even then a bit obtuse

we could do with a for sale section that you can just post a plain text add without all the bollocks (basically just a for sale section where you start a thread to sell yer ****
