What have you done to your Landie today.

Removed the rear knackered door card and replaced it with a piece of 12mm ply, then covered it in some weird fabric that was all over the Landy when i bought it.

Also fitted an old screw box as a ' table ' for a small burner which can be used from inside or out when the door is open.

Will post pics later when the camera works

After the landy has been sitting out the front for a couple of years, I've finally decided to start on it!

SU's off tonight. Got one stripped down and cleaned up. Ceased solid it was! That'll be why the bugger only worked on LPG then!

Got to put it back together, then start on t'other one. That's next Thursdays fun!

I've been fixing my hand brake, was seized on solid:mad: took me ages to get the drum off but Ive cleaned it all up unseized the mechanisims and gave them a good helping of copper slip. Put it back together in the dark:mad: on me driveway. All works fine now and me landy moves again:D:D:D
That will teach me for playing in muddy ponds on sunday, I'm sure I used to play in ponds when I was a kid..........Will I ever grow up??????:D:D:D

Not a hope:D:D:D:D

Removed me rear prop as I think that it is worn and making a clunk so will run without to see if the clunk has gone.

No, that's the beauty of using the screw box's, the hinges for the lid are pretty solid for taking a pan of water plus burner, i was going to use a wire 'tray' idea till i found the box.

Sweet, runner or project?

Its a project.....Only bought it for the number plate though:D:D:D

Just finished the 1st stage of making a new air filter system...

I didn't want to cut holes in the wing for a snorkel so decided to try a little air ram instead. Made from trusty drain pipe and a few bends. A drain pipe collector box makes a near made to measure scoop behind the grill (need to check it clears the steering arm before going too far)

When the air filter arrives Ill cut a section of pipe out and add the filter box.... that's when it arrives

O and yes, its a Prima engine :D

surely the idea of a snorkel is to raise where the air gets in from, not to use as a water scoop low down:confused:
