I had a similar problems with the rear speakers, turned out there was a bit of corrosion on the connectors, gave them a good clean and the speakers are now working well, don't think they'd work if Westlife was on though!

Hi, I recently had to replace my tailgate regulator too.... sounds like you need to re-calibrate your rear window, your right you need to disconnect the battery to do this but you also need to have the rear window fitted so the sensors know when its fully closed which is part of the procedure...

Hope you enjoy the new motor, got the same one but in silver. Its really worth doing all the mods you'll read about on this forum, EGR bypass, silicone hoses, BMW crankcase breather etc but best of all is install a Synergy2a, all those combined makes it a much better car in my opinion.
