About 18 months ago after running out of fuel the amber engine management light illuminated on my TD4. Everything runs ok, starts first time everytime, fuel consumption still good etc. Just wanted to know if anyone knows how to reset the light, without having to take it back to a main dealer...

Y reg TD4 ESD, owned for the last 20,000 miles and has had a few minor issues. Boot door lock sometimes won't relatch, but a little thump sorts it every time. Top radiator hose split, replaced by myself, so no biggie. Heating never runs very hot, but that could just be the car. Few rattles...

Don't try and fit the landrover fog lights if you have one of those heater thingies behind the bumper on the passenger side of the car because it gets in the way:( Steve :)

Had a look at the internal lights on my Y reg ES TD4 and all the buttons on the dash and the centre console have rear lights. Stereo and heater controls light up to. No lights within the stalks for lights and winscreen wipers. Steve :)

Had Halfords own make blades on my MGF and they worked fine and lasted well over a year. Steve:)

What should the rails be lubricated with? I have seen mentioned WD40 in other posts, which might work if something is jammed, but I'm thinking more of some form of grease for long term lubrication. Steve :)
