Can you post link to video. I have taken a dash out before but it is quite involved and suggest the video plus photos for all the brackets and fixings...

So I got to the heater matrix, and it is pretty disgusting

Hi everyone.

I did it !
Although it's impressive, It's not that bad if you take your time, I did it over 3 days, taking my time...

All is good now, I am not loosing coolant anymore, and no more steam on the window.

BUT
- I often have a plumbing noise, like water going through pipes , I think it's the coolant passing in the heater matrix. I tried to bleed the air by opening the 2 bleed screws in the engine compartment. I did it engine on, engine off, engine cold, engine warn, I can see liquid coming out of the screws. Maybe this is normal

- I have the Hill Descent Control Warning Light on.

I probably did something wrong. The HDC switch is connected ok. What else must I check ?

Thanks for you help

Its a job I've been putting off for a decade, so well done :D

The gurgling will be air. Presumably when you filled the system the new matrix may not have filled and the gurgling is just air being dislodged from there? When a coolant flush is done, I don't suppose the matrix is emptied, so that issue would not occur.
