Heres another for you......note the small alteration to the radiator:doh:........mind you thats nothing compared to the moment when the bolt securing the oil seals failed on the engine hoist:eek:

........cranked it for a while to get the oil around, then reset the petrol inertia switch and started third turn.........no airlocks, no leaks......but it did run out of mot whilst changing the engine........

.....A new hope........so, after getting it all sorted i took it for a run to Birmingham (126 miles) on which it settled down nicely. The Lpg works as it should and the engine is silky smooth with loads of tickle the throttle power. All in all i am really pleased with the new engine, the fitting of which gave me chance to sort out the other leaks and niggles.......can't wait for it to be run in!

The only major pain in the arse was having to drop out the engine mounts in order to get at the rear, middle, bell housing bolts. You would have thought on a re-designed vehicle they would have left 2" to get your hand in :doh::doh:........

Nick.
