Disco 1 Discovery 1/2 rear door aperture corners?

My Disco 1 has quite holy corners under the rear door, causing the rear door to be a pain to shut. A nearby scrapyard has a Disco 2 in stock, so I’m planning on taking an angle finder and cutting as much as I can out the corners of that to use on mine.

Does anyone know if the shape is roughly the same? Even if not, I’d have thought it was likely they could be made to fit?

Do you mean the corners of the actual door or the corneres of the bodywork under the door?
