Scenario : it first started on a cold day heater on sat there 3 amigos cum on and it is as if the thermostat opened and they went of and it did not stop this happen a few days then it started to do the same but stop the engine i thought it might be the battery I got a new one but it still did...

Forgot to put this in post . If I turn the heater on they cum on then if I turn the heater of they go of then no prob it does not stop . It only happens when u first start it up

Hi I'm new to this site can anyone help me I hav a problem with my freelander 2 td4 03 when I start it u its ok then I turn the heater on the 3 amigos cum on and after a few mins the engine will stop and will only start with a jump .
