That’s fascinating thank you, does the wood move less over time? I have in my mind that the hollow fibres of the wood expand and contract but gradually over time ‘settle’ and that the movement would diminish with time?

When building something like this do you have to take into account expansion and contraction of the wood frame during the different seasons?

No. The lower bolts foul the timing chest when you wind them out

Something has gone amiss with the install, an airline amiss etc, something is plumbed up wrong, etc Go over everything again and check, intercooler pipes the lot. If it was running in the old vehicle, and was taken out and now isn’t something isn’t been connected up right imo

yepm after my binnacle fell off when off roading i changed the mount, the surround and the binnacle for the raptor ones - its very good and very solid. Expensive but it fits lvoely and doesnt rattle at all :)

Check the towing socket - I had a weird light issue with a tow socket that had all corroded inside and in effective ‘completed’ the circuit - mine was indicators coming on with the brakes but same sort of scenario (one circuit back fed by another)
