Oh we are a happy forum lol
Yeah, I should've given him the hitch. Even if he didn't answer my question
You'd pay £20 for the answer to that question? I thought I'd try here as it seems like a good forum, after all, it was just a quick question to save me borrowing one to try...
Look ****ing harder then lol
I want the hitch gone, I think they're ****e. I agree with all the violin-esque comments about helping people out on here, and I don't think I'll be helping you out by giving or selling you the hitch. Quite the opposite in fact.
It's going on ebay get over it:D
**** me, mondo says he'll have the hitch [Screwing a new member hoping he doesn't know they're worth something perhaps? maybe not] I say it's going on ebay and next thing the dummies are flying lol
If you think I'm trying to screw someone here, you have a lovely imagination :D
LMAO
Think I covered why I was looking for an adapter, and you even quoted it.
No offence, but you seem more of a miserable **** here. As far as I'm concerned, the NATO hitch is a pile of ****, and I'd rather it go to someone anonymous through ebay that I'll never see again, than to someone...
Thanks Davec :)
And lol at the above, the adapter would've made it simpler, and retained the original socket should I need it, but it's not exactly rocket science to re-wire is it? ;)
So no chance missed really, but thanks anyway!
Hi
I've just bought an ex-army 110 on ebay. It has a NATO hitch and what I assume is a matching trailer-lighting socket.
The hitch is coming off in favour of something useful, will one of these TRAILER TOWING ELECTRICS 13 PIN CAR TO 7 PIN ADAPTOR on eBay, also Mobile Touring Caravan Parts...
Sorry if the seller is a member here, but does anything strike you as strange in the photos...?
Series 2a Land Rover on eBay, also, Land Rover, Car Parts, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 18-Dec-07 16:03:29 GMT)
Thanks guys.
Not military spec then. Not fussed really but thought it might be relevant. BTW, what are the differences please?
Am I missing something?
Cheers
John :)
Hello
I'm elbow deep in my first Land Rover project, and I understand that they came fitted with different rear axles, some stronger than others.
Which one is this please? [excuse the huge image, forgot to resize before uploading it, but it makes for good quality viewing]...
I've just started to do mine, here's what I've done re the rear tub:
Although I've now decided it needs to come off as I found some holes further along the chassis rails :(
I see, guess I'll just have to keep my fingers crossed while driving! In reality, I could do the work myself but if the engine packs up I'd take the opportunity to put something else in instead
Are the 2.6 engines really that bad? I bought one a few months ago and it's been fine so far (touch wood). When I was considering buying it, 2 separate land rover 'enthusiasts' / nutters told me they were good engines
