Hi, got the same symptoms. Temp gauge hardly moves and little or no heat out of the blowers. Is it solely the thermostat or could it be something else. 2002 Td4

thanks Skynet. Bojer the two lights came on half way through a journey and stayed on for about 5 minutes.

Cheers, because only two lights came on didn't think it was that but reading the thread could be the brake light switch.

While driving home today the HDC warning light and TC warning light appeared on the the dashboard for a coupe of minutes then went off. They didn't flash just came on. Any ideas, anyone come across this before?

Hi folks, might have been covered before but...... Currently have 17 inch alloys on my Freelander with 225x55x17 tyres and managed to find some 15inch steel wheels with 195x80x15 winter tyres. The question is will they fit with no modification?

It's looking like the solenoid / starter. Are they straight forward to change ? looks a little cramped in the bay down there.

Hi guys, having an intermittent issue with starting. Sometimes just getting a click when attempting to start, just like when a battery is completely flat. Put a new battery on it but no difference. Checked what wires I can see attached to starter motor and all look good. Any ideas ?:confused...

Wasn't too bad, have noticed any difference as yet. Feel better for doing it.

Clean intake manifold, fitted egr blanking kit and replaced crankcase filter.

I had same problem on my HDC. Removed it from gear level and found the two wires to the switch had snapped off. Soldered back on and refitted to gear level, worked perfectly after that.:tea:

Fair point, post deleted. Still a little wet behind the ears, just fed up with other Landrover owners take the pee out of Freelanders.

Replaced rear wiper blade.
