I fitted 2 wheel traction control to mine,changed the brake modulator and computer for the right ones also scrubbed out the fluid res mine was ok but the one that came with the 2nd user modulator was minging.Fitted did a full by the book bleed now got traction at the back.

p38,changed drivers side swivel joints thunder bugs anall.

All to do with angles bolts n rubber,I had it on stands when I replaced them last week was running around with Skittish steering and hard suspension after putting the rod back on, now I ain't.

Loosened the front panhard bolts turned the wheels full left/right,sent the suspension up/down, let it settle on normal load left drivers door open & whilst engine was still running did bolts back up. Then took car for a run, hard suspension gone vibrations at 1500 to 2500 revs gone...ME happy...:D

They clips I pulled the sunshade to one side clips fell out,then spent ages trying to find them as they escaped into nooks and crannies, replacements eblag had then on £14 methinks or scrappy classic sunroof clips same as p38.

Changed the clutch on my A/C much quieter clutch engagement..

Yes I got all those symptoms did all the earths even changed the fuze box..Turned out to be a loose crank sensor only 2mm movement...:)

Mine boiled down to a ever so slightly lose crankshaft censor .:D:D It finaly threw up codes on crank and cam sensors with check engine of course.

Then check that both bulbs are working in the instrument cluster..:D

Have you checked your engine bay fuze box. i.e. disconnect battery remove the fuze box and all connections pull and check all relays and fuzes for corrosion and burning ..Double check the multi connectors for same and make sure nice n tight when replacing ..Just something Ive just done to mine...

can I just add that the ribbon wires are thus looking at fishsponges photo No 13 top to bottom... srs yellow wire srs red wire white orange green brown yellow black pink black I found that the yellow had no continuity so took mine apart to find the ribbon had a crease in it so broke...

Have rovercom lite with most p38 gems modules..

2 days have changed the brake modulator for a TC one ,done a full brake bleed then ended up with a airbag fault no SRS fault ...Turned out that one of the 2 bulbs in the dash had failed next a full wash ........maybe not..:)
