Ive searched the crap out of this and have no luck finding much, seems to me i can use a standard rear coil on the front of my d1 to lift 2'' ,anyone done it ? cheers Andy

Yes its a duce dizzy ,can't help with plugs, I've used champion rn11yx or 12

Hi there the duceiller dizzy has the condenser on the outside of the body, as for CR the head has a raised section on the manifold side between the two centre outside head studs ,this would be stamped 7 or 8 ,or if its an earlier engine there is no raised section and would be low compression.

Yes + to red - to black ,the ballast resistor is a ceramic rectangle shaped thingo on the bulkhead needs to be bypassed

I had the same symptoms on a Datsun a series engine ,after a head gasket replacement similar noise ,I replaced the head gasket, retourqed and set clearances and never found any problems ,the noise was gone after the second go at it ,weird

I've been running tubeless tyres ,with no tubes on rivited series rims for a while with no problems, air down off road ,never popped off ,haven't had a flat tyre ever, was always getting flats with tubes because of the quality that is available is no good these days

I'm running tubeless tyres on 5.5 in 109 tubed rims no problems ever, have deflated them off road never popped off

Easy to fill via pulling out the short side 1/2 shaft on a jack stand

I used 10 mm Eva foam camping mat top and bottom been in 5 years now with no worries

I'd make sure the fan has a relay and fuse independent of the original loom they draw huge amps on startup

I'd go for a 2.1/4 or 2.5 petrol 5 bearing engine, its the nicest smoothest of all, and on a long trip recently I got 12l /100 km running Weber dtml and 3.54 diff's on 235 85 16s crusing at 90 kmh at 2500 rpm all on GPS , I've topped out at 120 kph .
