    Dintrol Aerosol Kits

I've a 2012 90 so the chassis is in good nick, just want to give it a coat of something to keep it that way. Ideally I would use a compressor and the like, but I live in a flat at the moment and haven't got a workshop or storage for one. I don't fancy shelling out £500 for it to be done by a...

    Front box section rubber plug

Hi folks Trying to find a replacement for the rubber stoppers that plug the hole in the front box section under the front bumper but can't seem to find them anywhere. Does anyone have part number for them? If nobody knows what I'm on about ill take a picture in the light tomorrow.

    Motorway mileage defender

Us lot in the UK seem to have a massive aversion to high mileage vehicles, provided it's been looked after, it'll be no difference to a low mileage one :) I guess it's because we don't drive the amount of miles Americans, Aussies and Afrikaners do because we live on a tiddly island.

    Second choice

I dont get the attractions of Hiluxes and the like. If youre going to go for a Toyota, do it properly. UEV-79 Landcruiser Double Cab Prototype Conqueror Australia - YouTube

    What do I want?

I can't live with MPG figures like that :( I wouldn't mind a v8 though!! The Defender is going to be replacing my crappy hatchback and will be my everyday drive, so more grunt with as little impact on MPG as possible is what I'm going for.

    What do I want?

111 and 122bhp seems poor from 2.5ltr units in my opinion, I'm certainly not after a performance landy, just something pushing towards a resonable power and torque output for the engine size. The TD5 seems the best bet, but budget constraints may come in to play :(

    What do I want?

Oh I'm not looking or anything to break the land speed record or race the little ****bags in their 1.6 Saxo VTRs or whatever. For the money I'm looking to spend an older 330d or similar isnt out of the question (although I can think of nothing worse), so a bit of "performance" out of my Landy...

    What do I want?

Any idea what the max torque and Bhp you can push out of a 300TDi is without sacrificing reliability is?

    What do I want?

Im sure this has been asked before, but a search turned up nothing. I'm looking to buy my first defender in 2013 and I have no idea what I want engine wise. I test drove both a 300TDi & a TD5 and I found both to be lacking power a few weeks ago. Bear in mind I'm comparing them to a 60bhp 12yr...

    Greetings

Good morning all! I'm new to the site and currently Land Rover-less. I'm hoping to get hold of my first Defender/90 in the coming year, a 300tdi or preferably a TD5. I'm sure I'll be calling on you all for help and advice in the coming weeks and months. Rather cruelly I was given a Haynes...
