The plot thickens! Hawkeye shows no engine faults. I can force the fans to run any speed using Hawkeye under engine control. Is the A/C Under a different control than the engine ECU? I’m confused now!

Another question... what is the blue connector near the battery try that links to the coolant pack loom? Just had that apart and cleaned with contact spray. Fans came on in 5 seconds after starting from cold. Could be a coincidence mind you! I’ll put it on Hawkeye tomorrow see if that will...

I'm new to owning a Freelander and after about 8 weeks of ownership of a TD4 I can report the same inaccurate fuel gauge. I use mine for long motorway runs and can easily get 450 miles from a tank.... I only drive at a constant 60mph though :)
