Hi all, Just got my 'new' D1, a 1998 ES with all the extras, leccy seats, aircon etc. Do any of you fine fellows and Ladies know what the original book price for it would have been in 1998?:)

    CD autochanger

Ladies and Gents, I've just replaced my last D1 with a 1998 ES. Its a nice truck with all the electric stuff and SILLS STILL MADE OUT OF METAL, NOT RUST! She has a CD autochanger, but not instruction book. I've tried playing with it, but no joy. Any advice? TA.

    Well, well, well. New Toy?

Guess what drove past my house today? I live near to M.I.R.A, and we get all sorts going past. Today it looked like a camouflaged long wheelbase Evoque. Unfortunately no pics at present, but will keep my eyes open.....:)

    Nearly there on tailgate door

It getting annoying now. I can open the tailgate door from the inside (remotely thanks to the power of baler twine) but still not from the outside. Is there anyone in the Leicester/Hinckley/Nuneaton area could pop over and give me a hand? Pleeeeeaasseee!!!:scratching_chin:

    Help! Rear tailgate door stuck

OK. The door hinges wore out,all now replaced and happy. BUT when I slammed the door shut I think something has disconnected as the outer door handle feels as though it isn't doing anything( probably 'cos it isn't ) and I can't open the door. Rather inconvenient. Anybody had similar experience...
