As said, kit cheap enough. You could retain for nostalgia, but every diesel I have ever had eventually gave problems with the egr so by passed and through away every time.

I am straight through with de cat but kept the rear silencer. I have found as some , that the 300tdi likes a little back pressure in the low to mid range. Suttle but there. Mine makes a nice noise, not too loud until I floor it then it sounds mental. But bearable on motorway and day to day.
