when diff lock is engaged front prop rotates but the rear prop doesnt, try to move without locking dif and a hek of a noise comes from rear diff, and no drive at all.. goes into garage on thursday so dont real;y know wat to expect,,

thanks for reply if diff lock is not on when drive is taken up the rear prop does not turn at all only when dl is engaged does it rotate,,i am no mechanic and was wondering the best rout to go ,,eg refurb rear diff , just to get some idea whats required ,, thanks

can any of you kind people help.. lost drive and had to get the aa guy out. he told me the rear transmission has failed and only can move truck when diff lock is engaged. any info regarding my predicament would be realy appreciated. thanks guys

took the truck to my local garage, 45 pound to hook up to diagnostic job,, turned out to be map sensor not working new boshe sensor installed, job done back to normal.

help please. i am thinking of buying a egr blank kit for td5 defender 110 02. when fitted will any warning lights apear in cab.? also is it realy a worthwhile,, any advice would be great,thanks.

can any body help. 110 td5 started to lose power after about 15mins driveing, if i restart engine seems to correct itself then happens again several miles later. waste gate free and recent new airflow sensor.when power goes its almost like limp mode barely get to 35mph. any advice appreciated.

put a new airflow meter on problem sorted ..thanks for advice.

any of you good people help. td5 defender 110 02plate. loss of power on inclines more noticeable in higher gears. just noticed over last couple of weeks. no black smoke evident from exhaust, regulary change filters.. 113k on clock. any advice on where to start.. any advice would be appreciated.
