    Nice Freeby Winu!

You will see ;) in less than two months L-series should back on wheels with some nice changes ;) . And next one is a 20th Camel Trophy 1998 Anniversary project ;) if everything goes well, should be ready (part or full) on 5th AUG 2018

    Nice Freeby Winu!

20 yr old body wouldn't be perfect , especially on sills. Rust is there, but inside for a while. So better option is to replace old panels for new ones, and add a good rust protection. If i would like to change a body - i need to use 98-00, because later ones are not able to adapt L-series...

    Nice Freeby Winu!

Yup, it will be almost new :) . Got some nice rare items for it. It will disassembled to bare body shell, sills (rust under rear doors) and internal reinforcements will be replaced for new LR elements. Dash will be removed, and uprated airbox with heater matrix from MY'04 will be fitted, new...

Freelander 1 FBH vs Front fog...

Job is done :) . Heater must have slight different position. Not on side like LR fit it but 90* behind bumper bar. On that way everything is work. Slight mod to bracket and water pipes.

Freelander 1 FBH vs Front fog...

Hello, (ha! now i can ask for something :P ) Today we fit a FBH in to my Td4. There are also stock LR fog lights on bumper... and we got a problem with collision FBH and left fog :/ . It looks like the light is too deep... Anybody know any solution - LED maybe, or saw other ideas to suit FBH...

He can try, but those are no longer available since years. Found this kit in U.S in some barn at North Carolina.

    Freelander 1 extras

Curved led panel on front can work nice. If whole project is biased on 'functionality' not a classic look :)

I want to go off-roading in a Freelander

Yup, it's a good stuff. Together with TC (helps to switch locking it up, or you can do it manual by handbrake) do great job wth one rear wheel up, or on ditch

LSD in front diff is bad idea because affect transferring torque to the rear . LSD on rear diff do the job with TC On "Classic type" LR/RR you can put up to three lockers (front, centre, rear)

    Freelander 1 extras

You can get something like that with winch, roof rack, rear ladder, roll cage, full underbody protection , some lights ect :P Just need to use some love and money ;)

    Freelander 1 Freelander 1 springs

That's interesting white/orange from 6A Vin are listed as non sport suspension. Well, probably in 06 "sport" spec is different for some reason :), My mistake :)

    Freelander 1 Freelander 1 springs

So there is no parts for those :p. Sports springs and shocks got only one part number and starting from VIN 4A to end. Standard springs are from 1A to 5A99999 and for 6A to end. - That could be the difference (maybe those are stiffer), but all of them are marked 'Less sports tuned suspension' ...

    Freelander 1 New Freelander owner.....

If you would like to improve flow... you need to remove that silly plastic pipes on top of the engine ;) And don't use oil type air filters - those will kill you'r MAF. only dry ones.
