Hi wondering if anyone can help me ive got 1989 defender 90 with 200tdi lump, so far everytime ive been off roading ive nakered my alternator i was wondering if ther was anything i could do or buy to raise the alternator up the top of the engine to keep it out of mud and water as much as possible?

Wen off roading the weekend, now i have started driving my defender again and when you get above 30 or so it starts to really badly vibrate , any ideas ?

Got the 200tdi defender pick up looking to spend around £400 on a winch which is the best buy for around that price ?

What do you mean by drive flanges ? The belt pulley is that ment to be and what year 300tdi alternator will fit ? Thanks
