Holy thread revival, but after about 3 hours of the search function this is by far the most relevant thread regarding tyres for the wifes fl.
Thanks to the advice and guidance in here I shall be off to get some Scorpion STR.
Thanks, Andy
Surely, if you are having trouble connecting to the K series gearbox then an early L series diesel box will work without mods as stated above.
Having owned a 620ti in the past it will make life great fun in a freelander. I always wondered how this work in the Land rovers using the same block...
It doesnt say what state it was in before it was modified, perhaps it was a wreck.
The old series models are only revered as they became rare, anyway, I thought the beauty of these were the meccanno nature of them. If it bothers the OP so much then buy it and restore it.
I found this problem in the wifes FL today. Worst of the water seems to be coming from the drivers side based on how wet the carpet underlay was, does this indicate a dodgy door seal then?
Trying to fix the same fault on our 54 plate Freelander but have new problem, whilst removing the supplementary fuse box cover it slipped out of my fingers. Incredibly it managed to fall amongst the hoses and drop down inside the engine never to be seen again!
Does anyone have the part number...
