Hi all, How easy is it to convert a complete electric windowed door to a manual door, assuming you had one of each ? I have a '97 300TDI that has a nackered manual windowed door, and I just had delivered a straight TD5 electric window door. Cheers Sean

I have obe going cheap in sussex

Use lubrication such as some brake fluid or caliper grease,oh and make sure the piston is square as there is a fine tolerance

I fancy some side windows also. Which ones are those?

Well things are progressing well. The suspension is holding up well and it's starting on the button with no diesel leaks. Time to paint the last bits of the chassis and axles Here is how it stands today. I have a few more jobs lined up, such as paint rear door, fit some rock...

After a trip to the nut and bolt store to get some nuts that actually fit, progress was made in fitting the new front suspension. Not finished yet as there is obviously an order needed in fitting the sprint plate retaining bolt after tightening the bottom shock bolt. I will do that once I get...

Hi all, Just about to but an entire set of front shocks, springs, turrets and rings in. Here are the items provided by procomp. Am I missing a set of washers to cup each rubber washer ? Top: Bottom It was the same story with the rears also. Cheers Sean

Good progress today. Managed to get the entire front suspension off, cleaned and painted the front chassis items. The off-side turret came off easier, especially as I made more effort to attack the turret bolts...all other options are a nigtmare...as learnt from removing the near-side...
