Hi All My other half has a TD4 53 plate today I took off the underbody panel to drain the oil and I found the following part, does any body know what it is? and where it came from? also where can I get a new sump plug washer from?? many thanks David

finally brought a new battery today and freelander is working again. thankyou for your advice. i did note on the old battery it had a landrover sticker i woluld presume that this would of been the original battery so it could be 9 years old. once again thank you
