Hi all I get a "red key" sign on the dash of my 300tdi when i put the key in the ignition and turned on. The truck then obviously wont start. After a few seconds it goes away anf the truck starts fine. Can anyone please advsie why its doing this. Thanks guys

it is probably the spider unit under the dash that is giving grief. Common problem when the sloder cracks on this unit. Therefore no power to fule pump or starter somtimes. My advice is to get a bypass plug from the LR dealers for about $10 plug it into the spider unit. problem will be solved...
