    Its a sure sign of whomever fiddled with your Landy before you had no idea what they were doing. Its a condenser.. bit of an odd placement, belongs on the distributor, its a cap sends a condensed spark to points on start up. Remove it.

    TD5 Hylomar 3400 Sealant Alternative

    Yamabond or Hondabond.. from a bike shop. Loctite 574 is excellent, used to seal cam carriers on Porsche 911 heads. I am cautious of silicone in certain areas, any squeeze out will loosen and potentially cause some serious issues.

    Won't hear a word said against her :)

    I've had mine for 6 years now, rebuilt the motor this spring but only because it had 200,000 miles and I wanted peace of mind. Replaced EAS with coils, and a new headlight assembly. Inherited from my father, owned since new. No issues. Still looks sharp with a wash.

    Loose cam cover bolts... yep seems about right. Every oil change check them.

    If you can do head gaskets you can re-ring your motor. Like said.. it's just tedious in the car. Lots of cleaning. I did a 4.0 no re-bore, just a quick ball hone, stock size rings, new bearings. 120,000 miles, motor runs great, no issues I think I was under 800$ but thats USD to early here for...
