I have a 95 300tdi disco of which I have dropped a V8 into but the engine mounts were welded too high so it's now sitting where it Should despite a 3inch lift kit but now need to find a way to lift the transmission to suit the engines new position. Has anyone got any ideas or done this before?

I know this has come up a few times but theres still nothing on how to do it or what you need.I want to convert my front windows to manual as i come into contact with a lot of water so dont want to depend on electric.I have brought manual mechs and sort have got them fitted but the last slide...

That's cool have I got to remove the gear box to do the clutch pack and yes my oil has gone blackish since it gave up pulse it didn't give me much warning as I was fine then felt like it was jumping out of gear then had no drive at all

Anyone got a how to for checking the clutch packs in the box as i suspect mine has just gone as i dont have any forward gears, only reverse??

hi there just to tag onto the bottom of this thread as i topped my gearbox up this morning and now lost all forward gears could this be a result of overfilling as it is now showing aout half an inch above the max mark???

regarding the consistant water vapour in the exhaust i have the same problem but the truck runs sweet as a nut and im not loosing any coolent. had it out for a whole day and still seem to have water in the exhaust has anybody else had this problem mine is also a 3.9 v8 petrol.

thats a shame i dont spose you have got a picture of it it see if it is the same or will do the job as ive just taken the air con off my disco so now need a pulley with the grooves in rather then a smooth one which i have got at the moment

im after the drive belt tensioner if its a got the rits in it rather then a smooth pulley if you can help with that how much? Cheers
