    well I found out what the problem was the prop shaft bolts next to the gear box. One had sheared and the others were loose. Replaced them all with high strength bolts and no running lovely and smooth!!! I dont know if having the air con belt off exaserbated the problem.

    just for anyones info, Datatek you were right it was the viscous fan, it finaly snapped of the water pump and went through my radiator. The steel shaft from the pump looked like the metal was rather brittle. So had to fit new radiator,new pump, two belts and a whole viscous fan. about...

    oops that was supposed to be "begins to vibrate!" As in if you were in a manual and your in the wrong gear when you try and accelerate, as long as the revs have not to low it will excelerate but the whole doesnt like it and begins to vibrate and the engine pitch changes as you can feel it...
