hi folks just bought the missus a freelander 1.8 5 door for lugging around the dogs got it very cheap head gasket gone so fixed it all up stands me just under a grand on a v hope this sounds cheap, i know its not the best choice of engines but at that price £ 350 for car then cost of head repair...

can anyone cast some light ive got a k plate v8 disco injection its got new plugs ,leads,dizzy,rotor,hence great spark it starts great from cold first click runs lovely then settles down nicely as it warms up.but once its driven and warms up it seems to be a bit wooly?? ie not as crisp as usual...
