Didn't quite get there today but got one of the brackets on but could get the other as need a breaker bar to crack one of the nuts off as its so tight but will do it tomorrow on the farm and get a hand for mounting the guards thanks for the advice but found a good video on youtube that helped...

Whoops went up there yesterday and picked up a steel steering guard as they were the same price as others online. However they either gave me 1 too few bolts or i've lost it in the car not really sure need to do a proper search but i think its a fault on there part. George

okay thanks didn't realise they weren't towing eyes i assume they're the original ones for tying it down will have a go at mounting in and if i struggle will be straight back on here for more help:D george

Well I bought a steel steering guard from simmonites today and have put it together but just wanted to check on what i mount it on as i don't really have a clue to be honest :confused: I'm assuming its where the towing eyes are? any input to a stupid noob would be appreciated. George

Right I'm after a quick bit of help. I'm after fitting a soft A-bar to my 2.4 puma and have found one on at a reasonable price but I'm not 100% sure it will fit it is part reference VUB501720 and says its a limited edition G4 part and doesn't say if it fits the new 90 or if its just for the TD5...

Just thought i best introduce myself from north yorkshire just got a 2.4 tdci 90 and loving it on here to learn some more.
