Had the mysterious clicking/cracking noise on me V reg xdi for a few weeks ,finally got on me wick , checked all bushes sus mounts diff bushes etc, so eventually bit the bullet and got the grinder out ,cut hole in floor under rear drivers seat ,yup metal plate which houses the rear subframe nut...

XDI 2.0 v reg i average 38-40 mpg normal usage i think its bloomin good tbh :D
