First I thought it was the reluctor ring gone on the drive shaft , and after a little digging I found the part number I needed and my freelander does not have them .So I bought a new drive shaft as the one it had one the wrong one...

    I knew I should of took pics , the car is at my parents for tonight so its now going to keep me awake until morning . I would imagine I can get one of these from the dealers for the price of say a small terraced house ( like the sensor) . Thanks for the help and all is appreciated . Djay

    It doesnt look like the cv has had any ring at all fastened to it , to be honest . Is it possible that there should be a spacer of some sort between them. Thanks for the reply by the way . any info is more than what I know . Djay

    Another newbie

    Well to be honest I have been a member for about 9 months just didnt want to shell out for the part and it hadnt really bothered me as such. All the abs hdc and the tc seemed to work ok it was just the lights were always on . It wasnt until it went in for an MOT thigns got expensive. Djay
