Hi all ... Well replace thermostat and made no difference ... Tried renewing the antifreeze and making it more concentrated made no difference so blocked off radiator inlets .... First blocking all and great straight up to temp and stayed rock solid .... But can not have all blocked off so...

Yes thanks from NewZealand Greeed for the info on how to change the thermostat .... 6 hours later and done ... Took to days to get the air lock out but got it in the end ended up going up and down Mountain rd a couple of times ..... I was starting to think that new thermostat was faulty ...

My TD4 2005 is running cold 1/3 on the gauge ..... if I make it work it just reaches 1/2 on the gauge .... but will come back to 1/3 very quickly once cruising ... .. Have changed the thermostat ..... And have just ordered a temp sensor ..... If this does not work where to then .... It was...

My TD4 2006 mk1 takes forever to get warm and that is 1/3 on the gauge... have replaced the thermostat and what a job .... but made no difference ... I am in the process of ordering the water temp sensor to see if that will fix it .... what next if that does not work ?
