yeah ive still been using the winch so that i use the "in" button for winding the winch in and visa versa... ive flipped it around and hooked it on some railings at work and it pulled the landy far easier than before so fingers crossed im good to go! thanks people :)

im gunna have to hold my hands up here ive put the winch on backwards ive found the original picture from where i bought it Landrover defender tubular winch bumper with winch and cables - nearly new | eBay :crazy:

thanks but im back on tarmac for now ;) a disco came to my rescue it still was far from easy i have to say but its all a learning curve for me atm! p.s. im in Plymouth Devon and the location was a place called Lopwell

can someone please elaborate on the winch please??? is there any parts which can be overhauled or checked or is it even possible for someone to be able to test the pulling power of it?
