no sideways movement if you push the leaver forward- (i'll go and recheck this though). 5th feels fine with engine off- feels like it goes is and stays in gear.

The gearstick sits central, if that's what you mean by 3rd 4th alignment. It seams to go into all gears without a fuss with the engine not running. Thanks for the speedy reply!

Hi all! im having a little trouble with my disco 300tdi r380 gearbox:(. It wont go into fifth gear, its like there is something blocking it? Also shift down from fourth to third sometimes goes and sometimes dosent. Its fine when changing from second to third and there is no unusual noises...

I've used these guys for the past 2 years. First time round had no no claims on a 98 300tdi disco, all mods, off road cover, green laneing £50 excess all for £280.. Was the cheapest by far!! This year lest than £200:D!!

Great Job!!, wanted to add a few d2 touches to my 300tdi and the arches are the first on the list as mine a looking a bit tatty. Are the arch trims from a d2 or after market, and how much of the arch did you have to cut to make them fit??
