It could be that they need balancing on the actual vehicle, a mate of mine had the same problem on his XR4x4. Does the problem only happen around 50? I.e. does it smooth out above and below, if so that is more than likely balancing, but it still might be to check other things like bushes...

Sounds like either a wheel out of balance, buckled wheel, or even a carbuncle (bulge) on one of the tyres. Chris J

This may seem a silly question, but have you checked the sensors themselves? My father in law had the same problem with one of his lorries, it turned out that some w****r had put a layer of sellotape over the sensors confusing them. Chris J
