Freelander 2 (LR2) Advice on buying Freelander 2

Just under 2 years ago, I gave up my very reliable FL1 TD4, which I had for 8 years, due to domestic issues and eyesight problems. I might be in a position in the summer or autumn, to start driving again, should the treatment be successful. I am thinking of possibly getting a FL2 if I am able...

Freelander 1 2006 TD 4 free to Freelander nut.

Due to a change in circumstances, I can no longer justify keeping my FL1. I will sadly be dropping to my other car, a Clio. :( It's in not bad nick, with only a lot of scuffs on the passenger rear corner (done by idiots who can't judge how close they are to another vehicle when pulling in...

Freelander 2 (LR2) Brakes in snow juddering and not working

I went straight to HGV in the army in the late 70s. As I was based in Germany, I had to do the German Theory test, the German road test, the UK road test and the British Forces road test. I also had to do x number of hours tuition in the dark and the same in rain if possible. I also had to do...

Freelander 1 hazard lights button bulb

I have the switch end off. Thank you for your instructions. Now, how do I remove the small bulb? I am very heavy-handed and often break things so don't want that to happen on this occasion. :D ****EDIT***** It just pulls out. Used a tweezers.

Freelander 1 hazard lights button bulb

What year is your FL? I tried several years ago to get into my hazard button to replace the bulb and couldn't for fear of damaging it. Armed with your info, I will have another look as it annoys me that it doesn't light up when in use.

    Leaking Freelander 1

Sprinkle talcum powder all around the lower sides of the carpet, you will see where the water is entering. That's how I found the source of my leak. When sorted, the talcum powder can be vacuumed away.

    Leaking Freelander 1

When I had a major leak in my 2006 TD4, it took me some time to trace the source. In my case it was to the right of the pedals, driver side of the bonnet lever. I took the cover off (don't know name) and there are holes in the side panel. Inside is a small sponge. It was sticking out of the hole...

    Freelander 1 Door card fixings

I have had to replace the window regulator on the drivers side rear door. I am trying to source some new white plastic fixings that hold the card onto the door but I can't recall what they are called. Could some kind soul tell me please?
