bastard!!! ive been quoted £300 for a new clutch, ive had a look underneath and tested most of it with a pry bar and it looks alright, i think it might be the clutch because ive had a dual mass flywheel go on me before on a focus that i had and the landrover feels the same as that. cheers...

thanks very much for the heads up, my problem is now sorted. it was the spider alarm unit that was causing it to cut out so i bypassed it following that guide and it has been fine ever since so thanks very much.. Liam.

cheers for the replies, my disco is a n reg (96) model, my battery terminals are nice and tight, the only thing i lose is power everything else works fine still. i will give my fuses a check today, my alarm seems fine but i have my suspicions that it might have something to do with it.

hello, i`m new to landrovers and this site. i have owned my disco for about a month and i loved it straight away, it`s developed a problem, it would start and run fine for most of the day and then if i parked up and went back to the car shortly after it would not start it would just turn over...

as above, the pin has snapped on my lower rear door hinge and is now unusable, thanks, liam.
