Maybe so, but someone who attempts something having done the research beforehand has a better chance of success. I am in no doubt that I will succeed. Guitar playing, well that's another new venture for me. I doubt I'll ever be that good at it :(

Hi Guys, I'm trying to integrate the remote steering wheel controls with my on-board computer project and haven't been able to find out which protocol is used. Does the D2 share the same BMW iBus protocol for the ICE/remote controls or is it Canbus? Ive got a Becker Trafficpro radio/satnav...

I bought a copied disk off ebay and it works fine. Its version 9, not sure which year but I reckon its fairly recent. Its a cheap way to get updated maps :D

Yep, the factory nav is very good. I've got a Becker 4765 head unit in my ES. The options are very good, it has some nice features and the voice prompts are excellent but as you say the display is only the dot matrix readout on the head unit. It doesn't matter too much as the voice prompts make...

As the title suggests I am after the console that houses the leccy sunroof switches, interior light and supports the sunvisors. It is the beige coloured one and must be for the TD5 electric sunroof models. I don't need the visors If anyone has one kicking about or knows where I can get one...
