    Thanks for the nice comments! Used the offcuts from my sill plates and some sticky fibre stuff to tart up the edge of the seat box today. I messed up the carbon fibre stuff, its so hard to use, but still looks better than it was.

    Been driving for a couple of weeks now. I had to fit new shoes and cylinders, still got some unwanted vibrations and noises to iron out. Best thing about having the jap engine is the heater cause its really hot, takes no time to heat up the cabin.

    Drove it home to day for the first time, didn't take it above 60, all seems great so far. Tax it in the morning ready to drive and tow people out of the white stuff :)

    Whats the best available twin cup holder available for a defender?

    I need one that can hold two MaccyD's or costa cups tidy. Seen some on Ebay but they are hard to judge by pics. Anyone got some advice/ recommendations? I still have the middle seat so cubby ones aint no good. Really important modification imo.

    I beend driving round our local Industrial estate but am still waiting to be able to tax it. Its seems really slow to me at the moment, but then i am use to driving a 280BHP GT4 so is to be expected i suppose. :D

    No worries The Intercooler i fitted is a bit large but it will act as a great heatsink for when i up the boost pressure on the turbo! The Daihatsu DL-52 engine is Cambelt driven, but if you can find a DL-50 it is gear driven! Thats the one to use if you dont like cambelts!

    Loads of progress made today on my landrover. Started doing the work required for its MOT. Fitted new washer jet and pump. Finished the tread plate on the wing Fitted grab handles to the rear cross member and generally F*$ked about with my landy all day! :D Heres some pictures taken today:
